Lucknow: Dr. Deepti Shukla has been appointed as member of Nursing and Midwives Council who is also the Principal of Samarpan Nursing College and Vice President of Uttar Pradesh T.N.I.
Today Dr. Shukla met the Chief Secretary and apprised him of the problems of nursing which mainly included appointment of nurse registrar in Nursing Council, consideration of acute shortage of teachers in private colleges, increase in seats in private colleges, discrimination against nurses in big hospitals and requested for redressal, sahab assured that he will get these problems resolved.
Apart from Dr. Shukla, names of five other members of Nursing Council were also included namely Bindiya , Ashok Kumar, Navneet, Garima, Sarita.
