Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Panchayati Raj, Minority Welfare, Muslim Waqf and Haj Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has appealed to the general public to join the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and make it successful. The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign will strengthen the feelings of patriotism. He said that under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign running till August 15, hoist the tricolor on your homes, establishments, institutions etc. and also take selfies and share them.
The Panchayati Raj Minister has instructed the departmental officers to organize various programs filled with the feelings of patriotism on Independence Day when the national flag is hoisted on Amrit Sarovars / ponds built in the gram panchayats and panchayat buildings.
Along with this, Tiranga Yatra should also be taken out. On the occasion of Independence Day, officers should organize competitions as well as tree plantation programs. Along with making selfie points at each Amrit Sarovar, various cultural programs should be organized.
The Panchayati Raj Minister instructed that tricolor lighting should be done on the Panchayat buildings and the Panchayat buildings should be kept clean. The young generation should also be made to pay homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the freedom struggle and discuss their contribution. Our tricolor is our national symbol and incidents related to it should also be narrated.
