Netanyahu talks tough on drone attack woes

Tel Aviv: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has strongly condemned the drone attack near his residence in Caesarea, southern Haifa, allegedly carried out by Hezbollah. In a social media post, Netanyahu described the perpetrators as “Iranian agents” and issued a firm warning:

“The Iranian agents (Hezbollah) who tried to kill me and my wife today have made a big mistake. This will not stop the ongoing fight against the enemies.”

He reaffirmed Israel’s commitment to its military objectives, stating:

“Anyone who harms the citizens of the State of Israel will have to pay a heavy price for it. We will continue to wipe out the terrorists, bring back our hostages from Gaza, and secure the north. We will achieve all war goals set and change the security reality in the region for generations.”

Netanyahu’s statement reflects Israel’s resolve to intensify military operations against Hezbollah and other adversaries, while emphasizing unity and determination in the face of such threats.

The drone attack, which reportedly targeted Netanyahu’s home but failed as the device exploded in an open area, has also raised questions about air defense vulnerabilities. Israeli security forces acknowledged the failure of the air defense system in this instance. Despite this, Israel continues its aggressive military campaigns against Hezbollah and Hamas amidst escalating tensions in the region.
