MJP Rohilkhand University Ranks Among India’s Top Six Institutions in Digital Academic Services

Bareilly: Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly, has achieved a significant milestone in the field of digital education and student services by securing a place among the top six higher educational institutions in the country.

According to the latest institutional performance rankings released on the Government of India’s DigiLocker National Academic Depository (NAD) portal, the university has emerged as one of the nation’s leading institutions in the adoption and implementation of digital academic record management systems.

The university has successfully published more than 7.1 million academic records on the DigiLocker-NAD platform. This initiative enables students to securely access, store, and verify their degrees, mark sheets, and other academic documents in digital format. The move is expected to significantly enhance convenience, transparency, and efficiency in academic documentation.

Adding to its digital achievements, MJPRU has successfully integrated the Samarth e-Gov Suite, a comprehensive digital governance platform for higher education institutions. The integration has streamlined admissions, examinations, student management, and administrative processes, making them fully online, transparent, and efficient.

The digital transformation offers numerous benefits to students, including instant access to digital degrees and certificates, secure document storage, simplified verification procedures, transparent admission and examination systems, and paperless administrative services.

Expressing his satisfaction over the achievement, Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.P. Singh said that the recognition reflects the university’s commitment to digital excellence and student-centric services.

“This achievement is a testament to our dedication towards digital innovation and student-focused governance. It is a significant step in realizing the vision of Digital India and will serve as an inspiration for educational institutions across Uttar Pradesh and the country,” he said.

Dean of Student Welfare and Samarth Portal Coordinator Prof. Vinay Rishiwal highlighted the benefits of the integration, stating that students can now access their degrees and mark sheets instantly in a secure and verified digital format.

“The successful integration of Samarth and DigiLocker ensures transparency, efficiency, and paperless administration. Students should make full use of these digital facilities, which represent a transformative step in higher education governance,” he said.

University officials described the achievement as a major milestone in the institution’s ongoing efforts to modernize academic and administrative services through technology. The administration congratulated students, faculty members, and staff for contributing to this accomplishment and reaffirmed its commitment to advancing digital excellence in higher education.
