Mumbai: Actress Sara Arjun, who has attracted attention for her performance in Dhurandhar, is reportedly being considered for a major upcoming Telugu film starring Ram Charan. According to media reports, she may play the female lead in director Sukumar’s next project, tentatively titled RC17. However, the casting has not yet been officially confirmed.
Reports suggest that Sukumar has finalised the script and that pre-production work is currently underway. The film is expected to be launched around Dussehra, with shooting likely to begin in December. The schedule, however, remains subject to an official announcement from the makers.

Sara Arjun is also reportedly interested in the project and has responded positively to the story. However, neither the actress nor the production team has confirmed her involvement, and the development should be treated as an unverified casting report.
There is also speculation surrounding the film’s music composer. Reports have mentioned Anirudh Ravichander and Shashwat Sachdev as possible contenders, but the final choice has not been announced.

The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers and is reportedly being planned for a 2028 release. Its official title, release date and complete cast are yet to be revealed.
Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi, featuring Janhvi Kapoor, has also drawn attention, with discussion surrounding the actress’s look and the film’s reception. The reported possibility of Sara Arjun joining RC17 has now added another talking point for fans.
If confirmed, the project could mark a significant addition to Sara Arjun’s filmography after Dhurandhar. For now, audiences will have to wait for an official announcement to learn whether she will share the screen with Ram Charan in Sukumar’s next directorial venture.
