Lucknow: Law education and CLAT preparation took center stage in Lucknow as Geetali Gupta, the All India Rank 1 holder in CLAT 2026, interacted with aspiring law students during a special edition of Toppers Talk, organized by Toprankers Lucknow. Her presence was particularly significant as she herself was mentored at Toprankers, where she prepared for CLAT and eventually secured the top rank in the country.
The seminar witnessed the participation of nearly 400 students preparing for various law entrance examinations, making it one of the largest guidance sessions for law aspirants in the city. The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Yogendra Chauhan, Additional District Judge, Hardoi, Geetali Gupta (CLAT 2026 AIR 1), and Vishal Sharma, Centre Director, Toprankers Lucknow.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Yogendra Chauhan emphasized that success is built on consistent hard work, discipline, and proper guidance. He encouraged students to pursue excellence in the legal profession and contribute meaningfully to the justice system.
The highlight of the event was an interactive session with Geetali Gupta, who candidly shared her preparation journey and answered students’ questions. She explained how she successfully balanced her Class 12 board studies alongside CLAT preparation, the strategy she adopted while attempting the examination, and the techniques she used to perform consistently across different sections. She particularly stressed the importance of current affairs preparation, regular mock tests, and effective time management as key factors behind her success.
The event also featured inspiring stories from other successful CLAT candidates. Shauryawardhan Trivedi from Lucknow shared his remarkable journey of perseverance. Despite securing a rank above 2700 in CLAT 2025, he refused to give up. After a year of focused preparation and determination, he improved dramatically to secure AIR 78 in CLAT 2026, earning admission to the prestigious National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru.

Another inspiring story came from Apoorv Shree, who battled personal challenges and depression before deciding to leave engineering preparation behind and pursue law. Through dedication and clarity of purpose, he successfully secured admission to NLSIU Bengaluru. His journey encouraged students to follow their true interests and career aspirations.
Speaking on the occasion, Vishal Sharma, Centre Director of Toprankers Lucknow, said that the institute’s mission is not merely to help students clear examinations but to nurture future legal professionals. He highlighted that students benefit from the mentorship of an experienced academic team comprising graduates from leading National Law Universities.
Faculty members including Avnish Mishra (NLU Visakhapatnam) and Istuvi Sonkar (NLSIU Bengaluru and Symbiosis Law School, Pune) also interacted with students and addressed their queries regarding CLAT preparation and law careers. The event concluded with an engaging interaction between students, parents, toppers, and faculty members. Participants gained valuable insights into CLAT preparation strategies, career opportunities in law, and the skills required to succeed in one of India’s most competitive entrance examinations. The seminar served as a powerful source of motivation for aspiring law students, reinforcing the message that dedication, perseverance, and the right guidance can transform ambitions into achievements.
