Chatori Gali Near Samatamulak Chowk to Reopen with Delicious Food and Entertainment

Lucknow: Chatori Gali, located between Samatamulak Chowk and Prateek Sthal in Gomti Nagar, is all set to regain its former glory. The Smarak Samiti has issued allocation letters to private companies for a five-year contract to revive and operate the space.

Shops to Reopen After Years of Closure

Vivek Srivastava, Chief Manager of the Smarak Samiti, stated that the Asha Jyoti Lane, housing 10 shops ranging from 40 to 80 square meters and an additional 220 square meter outlet, had been lying unused for several years. Under the guidance of Member Secretary Prathamesh Kumar, a Request for Proposal (RFP) was issued to restart operations.

Several companies expressed interest, and based on their proposals, a consortium of two private companies from Delhi and Lucknow has been awarded a five-year contract to operate and maintain the shops.

Financial Terms and Conditions

As per the RFP terms, the consortium will pay the Smarak Samiti ₹91 lakh annually, with a 5% increment every year. Additionally, the consortium will provide a ₹4.55 lakh bank guarantee as security.

A Blend of Culinary and Entertainment Experiences

The reopening of Chatori Gali promises to offer a variety of cuisines, making it a foodie’s paradise. Beyond food, the consortium plans to develop a Kids’ Play Area and an Entertainment Zone, featuring live music and other activities to attract visitors of all ages.

With this new initiative, Chatori Gali is set to become a buzzing hotspot in Lucknow, combining the flavors of delectable food with doses of fun and entertainment.
