Lucknow: The book launch and literary felicitation ceremony of 2025, organized by Avadh Bharati Sansthan, took place under the esteemed chairmanship of Prof. Surya Prasad Dixit, with Padma Shri Vidya Bindu Singh as the chief guest. The event marked the release of two literary works by Er. Ramakant Tiwari, titled “Hasya Vyangya Kanikaye (Part-2)” and “Bhakti Kalash (Part-3)”.
As part of the annual awards in memory of Ramil’s parents, the Prabhuram Tiwari Smriti Avadhi and Avadhi Lok Sahitya Samman was awarded to Mahendra Bhishma and Acharya Surya Prasad Sharma Nishihar. Similarly, the Sita Devi Smriti Avadhi and Avadhi Lok Sahitya Samman was conferred upon Dr. Satya Singh and Dr. Rashmi Sheel Shukla. Each recipient was honored with a cash prize of ₹5,100, along with a memento and a ceremonial stole.
Speeches and Highlights
Chairman Prof. Surya Prasad Dixit, while addressing the event, appreciated Ramil’s literary contributions. He emphasized that while Bhakti Kalash reflects devotion and unwavering faith in the Almighty, it also underscores the divine grace bestowed upon all of humanity. Discussing Hasya Vyangya Kanikaye, he remarked that humor is one of the greatest assets in human life, and the ability to express it through literature is a unique divine gift.
Chief Guest Padma Shri Vidya Bindu Singh lauded the diverse themes of the two literary works, emphasizing that in today’s stressful world, bringing a smile to people’s faces is a significant achievement, and the author has succeeded in doing so. She also highlighted that faith and devotion to God serve as guiding forces in life’s journey.
Several eminent scholars, including Dr. Ram Bahadur Mishra, Dr. Santalal, Dr. Shiv Prakash Agnihotri, and Dr. Ambrish Singh, along with the award-winning authors, expressed their views on Ramil’s contributions to Avadhi literature and wished him continued success.
The event was smoothly conducted by Rashmi Sheel and Dr. Santalal, while Dr. Ram Bahadur Mishra, President of Avadh Bharati Sansthan, extended a warm welcome and vote of thanks.
The ceremony was attended by over a hundred distinguished Avadhi scholars and literature enthusiasts from Lucknow, Barabanki, Raebareli, Gonda, Ayodhya, Bihar, and other Avadhi-speaking regions.
