Dr Abhishek Tiwari, Dr Sarita Singh and Atul Kant Shukla emerge winners
Lucknow: The first LCWW Table Tennis Championship 2026, organised by Lucknow Connection Worldwide (LCWW) in collaboration with the SNI Centre for Sports Excellence, concluded successfully at Modern Academy, Vinay Khand-2, Gomti Nagar, with enthusiastic participation from LCWW members.
The championship was inaugurated by Justice Rakesh Srivastava, former Judge, High Court, Lucknow, who played the opening game.
The winners and participants were honoured and presented prizes by Rakesh Singh, former Managing Director, UP State Bridge Corporation; Neelu Singh; Anand Kishore Pandey, Director, SNI Centre for Sports Excellence; and Sunil Tuli, Director, Modern Academy.
The sporting event was complemented by a cultural programme. Musical performances by Dr Vishwas Verma, Raman Srivastava and Sachin Tiwari were well received, while young Advika impressed the audience with her dance performance.
Rakesh Singh, Director, Lucknow Cricket Association, and Vivek Singh, who has distinguished himself in para-sports, were among the special guests present.

The championship was directed by Vinod Srivastava, Event Director, with Harish Singh Negi as Chief Referee.
Senior LCWW Admin Shoaib Quraishi, along with Anil Shukla, Dr Rajeev Saxena and Kailash Kumar Srivastava, and a large number of LCWW members attended the event.
The championship added another sporting dimension to LCWW’s growing programme of activities aimed at promoting sports, fellowship and community participation among its members
