Bareilly: Vice-Chancellor of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, Acharya Dr Anil Kumar Rai, paid courtesy visits to Uttar Pradesh Governor and Chancellor Anandiben Patel and Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay in Lucknow.
During his meeting with the Governor at Raj Bhavan, Dr Rai briefed her on the university’s academic activities, research projects and future plans. Governor Anandiben Patel appreciated the institution’s initiatives and provided guidance on strengthening innovation, quality and academic standards in higher education.
Dr Rai subsequently met Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay and apprised him of the university’s academic achievements, infrastructure development and progress in implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The minister appreciated the university’s efforts and assured necessary support for promoting quality education, research and innovation in the higher education sector.
Dr Rai expressed his gratitude to the Governor and the Higher Education Minister for their guidance and support. He reiterated his commitment to taking the university forward on the path of academic excellence.
The meetings were seen as significant for strengthening coordination between the university’s academic development initiatives and the state’s broader higher education priorities, with emphasis on quality education, research, innovation and effective implementation of NEP 2020.
