Bareilly tightens vigil as UPSC exams get underway

Bareilly: The District Magistrate inspected various examination centers to conduct the Union Public Service Commission’s Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination- 2024 successfully and to maintain transparency in the examination. District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar along with Senior Superintendent of Police Ghule Sushil Chandrabhan  inspected the examination being held at various examination centers to conduct the Union Public Service Commission’s Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination- 2024 successfully and to maintain transparency in the examination.

The written examination of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination-2024 of the Union Public Service Commission was held today in two shifts (first shift from 09.30 am to 11.30 am and second shift from 02.30 pm to 04.30 pm) at 41 examination centers in the district.

The District Magistrate inspected the centers set up at Bareilly Inter College, Manohar Bhushan Inter College, Gulab Rai Inter College, Tilak Inter College and Delhi Public School in the first shift examination and took stock of the arrangements and gave necessary guidelines regarding the fair and safe conduct of the examination.

The District Magistrate also talked to the candidates appearing for the examination in the examination center Block E and A set up at Bareilly College and took information about the paper.

After the above, in the second shift examination, the examination centers set up at Jai Narayan Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, Shri PC Azad Inter College and Kanti Kapoor Saraswati Balika Vidya Mandir were inspected and the arrangements were tested. The concerned officers were present at the time of inspection.
