Gonda: Gonda Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal hoisted the national flag at his camp office on the occasion of the country’s 80th Independence Day and extended greetings to police personnel and their families.
Following the flag-hoisting ceremony, Jaiswal distributed sweets among the officers and employees present and conveyed his Independence Day wishes. He subsequently hoisted the national flag at the Quarter Guard at the Police Lines, where he administered an oath to police personnel to perform their duties with integrity and work towards preserving the nation’s freedom and unity.
The SP also distributed sweets to the personnel and extended Independence Day greetings to them. He conveyed his best wishes to every member of the police family, as well as to the people of Gonda district and citizens across the country.
Additional Superintendent of Police (East) Ajit Kumar Rajak also hoisted the national flag at the Police Office and administered the integrity pledge to the personnel present.
Similarly, all Circle Officers hoisted the national flag at their respective offices and police stations. Officers and personnel took the pledge of integrity and exchanged sweets while extending Independence Day greetings to one another.
The celebrations across the district reaffirmed the police force’s commitment to integrity, dedicated service, national unity and the preservation of the country’s freedom and sovereignty.
