Kaiserbagh Police Arrest Two Notorious Thieves, Recover Stolen E-Rickshaw

Lucknow: In a significant breakthrough against vehicle theft, the Kaiserbagh Police successfully arrested two alleged thieves and recovered a stolen e-rickshaw during a targeted operation conducted under the supervision of ACP Kaiserbagh Navratan Gautam and Inspector Anjani Kumar Mishra.

Acting on intelligence inputs, the police team apprehended the accused near Vishwakarma Temple on Guru Gobind Singh Marg. The arrested individuals have been identified as Mohammad Kaif alias Ulle and Pravesh Yadav alias Rana.

During the operation, police recovered a stolen e-rickshaw bearing registration number UP32RN2867 from the possession of the accused. The vehicle had reportedly been stolen and was being investigated by the local police.

Officials said the arrests were made as part of the ongoing drive to curb vehicle theft and strengthen law and order in the city. The recovery of the stolen vehicle is being seen as a major success for the Kaiserbagh Police.

The successful operation was carried out by a dedicated police team comprising Sub-Inspector Sawant Kumar, Sub-Inspector Arvind Kumar, Sub-Inspector Prashant Kumar, Constable Anish Verma, and other personnel.

Police have initiated further legal proceedings against the accused and are investigating whether they were involved in other theft-related cases in the region.

Senior police officials commended the team for their prompt action and reiterated their commitment to maintaining public safety and taking strict action against criminal activities in Lucknow.
