Mumbai: Sony SAB’s Itti Si Khushi continues to keep audiences engaged with its heartfelt emotions and gripping drama. While Anvita (Sumbul Touqeer Khan) stays determined to protect her husband Virat (Rajat Verma) and her siblings at every step, the current track takes an intense turn as Sara Sethi (Bhumika Gurung) begins weaving a dangerous trap around Anvita’s family, leading to rising tension, emotional conflict, and unexpected twists in the storyline.
While their characters share a relationship filled with bitterness, confrontations, and emotional intensity onscreen, offscreen it is a completely different story for Bhumika and Sumbul. The two actors share a warm and comfortable camaraderie behind the scenes, which makes performing even the most intense sequences easier and more enjoyable. Their natural understanding and ease with each other off camera beautifully translates into their performances, adding authenticity and depth to their onscreen rivalry. Over time, they have also developed a genuine friendship, creating a positive and lively atmosphere on set even during hectic shooting schedules.
Speaking about her bond with Sumbul, Bhumika Gurung shares, “Working with Sumbul has honestly been such a lovely experience. She is extremely warm, positive, and fun to be around, which makes the atmosphere on set very comfortable. Onscreen we are constantly at odds with each other and there’s so much intensity between our characters, but the moment the director says cut, we’re usually laughing or chatting about random things. I think having that offscreen comfort and understanding really helps us perform those emotional scenes better. She’s very sincere as an actor and also very sweet as a person, so shooting with her has been truly enjoyable.”

Tune in to watch Itti Si Khushi, every Monday to Saturday at 9:00 PM, only on Sony SAB
