Lucknow: Nritya Frolic Dance Academy will organise its annual cultural celebration, ‘Kalayatra Season-3’, on Saturday, May 9, at the Rai Umanath Bali Auditorium in Kaiserbagh.
The event is being held under the guidance of renowned Kathak exponent and academy founder Pallavi Prajapati. The annual showcase will feature vibrant performances by enthusiastic participants aged between 4 and 30 years from the academy’s Eldeco City branch.
Audiences can expect a rich blend of Indian classical, semi-classical and fusion dance performances reflecting the diversity and vibrancy of Indian cultural traditions.
Senior Kathak dancer and guru Akanksha Srivastava will attend the programme as the chief guest. Distinguished guests invited for the occasion include Dr. S.P. Mishra, Bharat Singh Bisht, Akanksha Anand, Lavina Jain and Lovely Ghildiyal.
At the conclusion of the programme, participants will be honoured with trophies, certificates and medals by the invited dignitaries in recognition of their performances and dedication to the art form.
Speaking about the event, Pallavi Prajapati said that Kalayatra symbolises the continuous and timeless journey of Indian culture, expressed through dance, rhythm and artistic creativity.
