Centre Committed to Holistic Development of Women: Ramdas Athawale in Lucknow

Lucknow: Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment and National President of the Republican Party of India (Athawale), Ramdas Athawale, reiterated the Centre’s commitment to the comprehensive development of women while addressing key party events during his one-day visit to Lucknow.

Athawale attended a ‘Mahila Karyakarta Sammelan’ (Women Workers’ Conference) held at Gandhi Bhawan Auditorium, Kesarbagh, and later participated as chief guest in an ‘Office Bearers’ Conference and Election Management Workshop’ at Visvesvaraya Hall.

Addressing a large gathering of women at the Gandhi Bhawan auditorium, the minister emphasized that the central government is firmly committed to empowering women across all sectors. He highlighted several welfare schemes aimed at improving women’s socio-economic conditions and encouraged them to actively avail these benefits to become self-reliant and enhance their quality of life.

Speaking at the event, party National Vice President Sanjay Sinha reaffirmed the party’s dedication to women’s empowerment, stating that every party worker would ensure that government schemes reach women at the grassroots level.

State President Pawan Bhai Gupta energized party workers by underlining the strength of the Constitution and the importance of voting rights. He also outlined strategies for the upcoming विधानसभा (Assembly) elections, expressing confidence that the party would deliver strong results in the state.

The programme witnessed the presence of several senior leaders, including Mahendra Prajapati, R.K. Gautam, Dr. S.P. Singh, Manglesh Shukla, Shyamdhar Dubey, and Sandeep Dubey. From the women’s wing, leaders such as Ruchi Shukla, Saroj Pandey, Reena Rajput, and Tukul Vishwas, along with a large number of women कार्यकर्ता (workers), actively participated in the conference.

The events served as a platform for strengthening organizational structure and mobilizing support ahead of the forthcoming elections, with a clear focus on inclusive development and women’s empowerment.
