Lucknow’s Tanishka Sharma Crowned Miss Universe Uttar Pradesh 2026

Lucknow: In a dazzling celebration of beauty, talent, and empowerment, Tanishka Sharma from Lucknow was crowned Miss Universe Uttar Pradesh 2026 at a grand event held late Friday night at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. The event was organized by Queenified Inc Pvt Ltd and took place at the prestigious Marsh Auditorium.

Alongside her, Kartika Maurya was crowned Miss Teen Uttar Pradesh 2026, while Gur Sharan Kaur won the title of Mrs Uttar Pradesh 2026. The evening witnessed participation from 38 contestants, whose confident ramp walks and vibrant presentations kept the audience enthralled.

The event blended glamour with purpose, emerging not just as a beauty pageant but as a platform celebrating women’s empowerment and individuality. From traditional chikankari ensembles reflecting Lucknow’s rich heritage to contemporary gowns, the ramp showcased a stunning fusion of culture and modern fashion.

During the introduction round, participants impressed the audience with their elegance and unique personalities. The question-and-answer segment further highlighted their intelligence, creativity, and presence of mind—reinforcing the essence of “beauty with brains.” Each contestant’s confident stride and poise set new benchmarks in style and presentation.

In the final results, Divya Gupta secured the position of first runner-up, while Yashita Jeet was declared second runner-up in the Miss Universe Uttar Pradesh category. In the teen segment, Gauri Singh Rajput finished as first runner-up. Meanwhile, in the Mrs category, Sanjana Srivastava and Padma Sinha were named first and second runners-up, respectively.

The winners were crowned by Preeti Yadav, Founder and State Director of Queenified Inc Pvt Ltd, who congratulated all participants for their outstanding performances.

The समारोह was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Jagdish Chandra and special guests including Mehak Dhingra (Miss Charm India 2025), Aparna Ahir Rao (Mrs Universe South East Asia 2025), Dr. Anita Ranjan, Manika Vishwakarma (Miss Universe India 2025), Amjad Khan, and Apeksha Nagar. The event was smoothly hosted by Simran Ahuja.
