Public Grievance Hearing Held at Gorakhnath Temple
Gorakhpur: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday assured needy citizens of housing support and full financial assistance for medical treatment during the Janata Darshan programme held at Gorakhnath Temple.
During his Gorakhpur visit, the Chief Minister met around 100 people in the public grievance hearing organised at the temple premises in the morning. Personally interacting with the attendees seated near the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan, the Chief Minister listened to their concerns one by one and reviewed their applications.
He directed concerned administrative and police officials to ensure that every grievance is resolved in a time-bound, impartial, and satisfactory manner. In matters related to the police, the Chief Minister instructed officials to take prompt and strict action wherever required.
Responding to a woman who raised the issue of housing, the Chief Minister assured her that she would be provided a house under the government’s housing scheme. Addressing those seeking financial assistance for the treatment of serious illnesses, he reiterated that no one’s treatment would be halted due to lack of funds. He instructed officials to prepare cost estimates at the earliest and ensure proper arrangements for advanced medical treatment of eligible patients.
Emphasising the government’s commitment to public welfare, the Chief Minister said that the state is determined to ensure that every eligible and needy person benefits from welfare schemes and that all problems are addressed effectively. During the interaction, he also distributed chocolates to children who accompanied their mothers and encouraged them to study well and move ahead in life.
The smooth conduct of the Janata Darshan once again reflected the state government’s focus on responsive governance and direct public engagement.
