Adani Group Announces 24 Fully Funded Scholarships for India’s Top Business Schools

Ahmedabad: The Adani Group has announced 24 fully funded scholarships under its Adani Accelerated Leadership Program (AALP) for the 2025–27 batch, reaffirming its commitment to inclusive leadership development and nation-building.

The scholarships have been awarded to meritorious students from India’s premier business institutions, including Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, Indian Institute of Management Lucknow and Indian School of Business. The selected scholars were formally felicitated at the Group’s headquarters in Ahmedabad by Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone and Director at Adani Cement.

The AALP scholarship aims to remove financial barriers for talented management students with demonstrated leadership potential. Selection is based on a rigorous evaluation process that considers both academic excellence and financial need, ensuring that deserving candidates receive opportunities regardless of their socio-economic background.

Addressing the scholars and their families, Karan Adani said, “This is not just a scholarship programme, but a commitment. We believe talent exists everywhere, but opportunity does not. These students have reached here through merit and determination. It is our responsibility to provide them with the right exposure and mentorship so they can lead India’s next phase of growth.”

The 2025–27 cohort reflects the diversity and depth of India’s emerging leadership talent. Among the scholars is Anand Babu Kamineni from IIM Calcutta, who secured top 0.1% ranks in national-level examinations such as JEE, CAT and UPSC, and hails from a small village in Andhra Pradesh. IIM Lucknow’s Ayush Srivastava, another scholar, has trained over 500 engineers in complex oil and gas systems and led key technical upgrades in offshore operations in Europe. The batch also includes Madhu Gupta of IIM Calcutta, known for leading large operational teams, and Kanav Bansal, whose early career contributions delivered significant financial outcomes.

Beyond financial assistance, AALP offers scholars structured industry exposure, mentorship and hands-on experience across large infrastructure and business platforms within the Group. The initiative seeks to build a strong bridge between academic learning and real-world leadership challenges.

At a time when India is witnessing rapid economic growth, collaboration between academia and industry is critical for leadership capacity building. Through AALP, Adani Group aims to nurture future leaders who embody excellence, responsibility and purpose. The 2025–27 scholarship batch marks another milestone in the programme’s expansion, turning individual aspirations into drivers of collective national progress.
