Mumbai: Bandhan Bank has launched its credit card portfolio in partnership with Mastercard, marking a significant step in the bank’s journey towards offering innovative and inclusive financial solutions. The new portfolio comprises four variants — Sparks, Ignite, Flair and Lumina — designed to address different customer segments, spending patterns and lifestyle preferences.
The cards were unveiled in the presence of Bandhan Bank Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Partha Pratim Sengupta, Mastercard India and South Asia President Gautam Aggarwal, Bandhan Bank Executive Director and Chief Business Officer Rajinder Kumar Babbar, Credit Cards Head Piyush Jha and other senior officials from both organisations.

The Sparks card focuses on everyday spending, offering rewards on groceries and apparel, a welcome reward bonus, domestic airport lounge access, BookMyShow offers, fuel surcharge waiver and cashback on EMI transactions.
The Ignite card provides enhanced rewards on grocery and travel spends, along with welcome and milestone rewards, domestic and international airport lounge access and EazyDiner benefits.
The Flair card is designed primarily for travel-oriented customers. Its benefits include an Amazon Pay voucher as a welcome benefit, domestic and international lounge access, BookMyShow and EazyDiner offers, and golf privileges.
The premium Lumina card offers enhanced rewards on international spending, an Oberoi gift voucher as a welcome benefit, domestic and international airport lounge access, concierge services, airport meet-and-greet facilities, BookMyShow and EazyDiner benefits, and golf privileges.
Speaking at the launch, Partha Pratim Sengupta said the introduction of credit cards was an important milestone in Bandhan Bank’s evolution as a universal bank. He said the Mastercard partnership reflected the bank’s commitment to meeting the aspirations of a digitally driven India through an end-to-end digital application process and a seamless card-service experience.

He added that the four variants were designed to serve a broad spectrum of customers, ranging from Gen Z and emerging affluent consumers to frequent travellers and customers seeking premium lifestyle experiences.
Rajinder Kumar Babbar said the launch would strengthen Bandhan Bank’s customer-centric product portfolio. He said the cards bring together digital convenience, meaningful rewards and relevant lifestyle benefits while allowing the bank to expand its presence in the rapidly evolving credit card market.
Gautam Aggarwal said India’s credit ecosystem was developing rapidly, driven by increasing digital adoption, changing consumer expectations and demand for diverse payment experiences. He said Mastercard remained committed to supporting partners with secure, seamless and innovative payment solutions.
The partnership combines Bandhan Bank’s customer reach with Mastercard’s global network and capabilities to offer credit products tailored to the needs of India’s increasingly diverse consumer base.
