Mumbai: A new Hindi feature film titled Lock Ishq has officially been announced by Samrat Film Arts Production House. The announcement was made on Valentine’s Day at a special gathering in Andheri West, Mumbai, which also coincided with the birthday celebration of VFX editor Ritesh Samrat.
Producers Sitaram Sitara and co-producer Sonia Jare confirmed that casting and pre-production work for the film are currently underway. Director Amit Kumar Shukla revealed that the story has been finalized and the team will soon begin scouting locations for the shoot.
Speaking at the event, Bollywood actor Sagar Samrat and action master Shahbaz Ali Khan described Lock Ishq as a unique and engaging story that they believe audiences will connect with strongly.
The title announcement event witnessed the presence of several film industry personalities, including Sameer Khan, Sonu Khan, director Akhilesh Samrat, Sajid Khan, Kamlesh Benwal, actress Rimjhim, Sariya Jare and others.
With pre-production progressing steadily, Lock Ishq is shaping up to be an eagerly anticipated addition to the Hindi film slate.
