Noida — The E-Club of Maharishi School of Business Management (MSOBM) at Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT), Noida, organised a dynamic workshop titled “Design Thinking for Startups & Entrepreneurs” on January 30, 2026. The session was held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the MSOBM Department in collaboration with the MUIT Incubation & Innovation Foundation, with support from the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Start-Up India.
The workshop was led by Prof. (Dr.) Sahab Singh, a Certified Design Thinker from IIM Lucknow, who warmly welcomed MBA and BBA students before emphasising the growing importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in today’s competitive landscape.
During the interactive session, Prof. Singh introduced students to the core principles of Design Thinking and its practical relevance for startups. He explained the five key stages—Empathise, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test—using real-life business examples, group discussions, and hands-on activities to enhance understanding.
The engaging methodology encouraged creative problem-solving, customer-centric thinking, and innovative decision-making among participants. Students expressed enthusiasm and left the session inspired to adopt a design-led approach in their academic work and future entrepreneurial pursuits.
The event reinforced MUIT’s commitment to nurturing innovation-driven learning and equipping students with practical skills aligned with emerging startup ecosystems.
