Lucknow— Indian Institute of Management Lucknow marked a vibrant beginning to Manfest-Varchasva 2026 as it welcomed over 3,000 students from more than 150 colleges across India on Day 1, setting an energetic tone for three days of ideas, culture, and celebration.
The opening day was anchored by the flagship Leaders’ Express sessions, featuring an eminent panel of speakers. Sunil Mehta, Chairperson of IndusInd Bank and former Chairperson of Punjab National Bank and YES Bank, shared insights on leadership and institutional resilience. Dr. Rajeshwar Singh, MLA from Sarojini Nagar and former Joint Director of the Enforcement Directorate, spoke on governance, ethics, and public service. Asmita Satyarthi, CEO of the Satyarthi Movement for Global Compassion, highlighted purpose-driven leadership and social impact, while Nishant Kumar Sinha, Founder of Roastery Coffee House, offered perspectives on entrepreneurship and brand building.
The campus buzzed with cultural competitions such as Vibes, Taal, Halla Bol, and Sur, alongside management events including Vridhi (Season 4) in collaboration with Pranyas Development Foundation and Qrioso with Quizzing Commoners.

The day concluded with growing anticipation for the Techno-Sufi Night by Bismil-ki-Mehfil, as IIM Lucknow set a strong benchmark for the days ahead at Manfest-Varchasva 2026.
