Lucknow: GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on 26 January, 2026. The programme began with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Chairman, Mr. Sarvesh Goel in the presence of the school Principal, Dr. Prerna Mitra, teachers, students, parents and staff members.
As the Tricolour was unfurled, the gathering stood in attention and sang the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with pride and respect for the nation. The ChairmanMr. Sarvesh Goel addressed the students and spoke about the Importance of the Indian Constitution, fundamental rights and duties of citizens, and highlighted Right to Education as a fundamental right guaranteed by the Indian Constitution.
Students presented a variety of cultural programmes, including patriotic songs, dance, and speeches, highlighting the sacrifices of freedom fighters and the values of unity, justice, and equality. All performances were appreciated by the audience.
The event instilled a deep sense of patriotism and responsibility among students.
