An Emotional Evening of Cinema, Music and Courage: Border 2 Honours the Indian Navy at Karwar Naval Base

Mumbai: Steeped in patriotism and the spirit of bravery, Border 2 has already carved a special place in the hearts of audiences even ahead of its release. Amid the growing appreciation for the film’s powerful narrative and soul-stirring music, the Border 2 team participated in a special tribute event for Indian Navy officers and sailors at the Karwar Naval Base, creating an unforgettable evening of honour and gratitude.

The event aimed to bring together the shared values of cinema and the armed forces—service, discipline, courage and brotherhood. The highlight of the evening was an exclusive live performance of songs from Border 2, presented especially for Indian Navy personnel. The music filled the venue with emotion and pride, deepening the sense of respect for the nation and those who safeguard it.

More than just a cultural programme, the evening stood as a heartfelt tribute to the dedication and valour of uniformed personnel. Through performances and interactions, the event showcased how stories told on the silver screen draw inspiration from real-life acts of courage and sacrifice displayed by India’s armed forces every day.

The Border 2 team expressed their sincere gratitude to the Indian Navy for the warm hospitality and for granting permission to host the programme at such a prestigious and significant location. The event at Karwar Naval Base has since become a memorable milestone in the journey of Border 2.

Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 features an ensemble cast including Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Mona Singh, Medha Rana, Sonam Bajwa, and Ananya Singh.

Presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, in association with J.P. Dutta’s J.P. Films, Border 2 is all set for a nationwide theatrical release on January 23, 2026.
