Lucknow— Alambagh Police have arrested a suspect involved in illegal cannabis trafficking in the city. The operation was carried out under the guidance of DCP Central, Vikrant Veer, by a team led by Alambagh Station Officer Subhash Chand Saroj.
The accused, identified as Bishu alias Vishal, was apprehended while allegedly trafficking cannabis in the Alambagh-Mavai area. The police team, including Sub-Inspector Shiv Prakash Singh and Constable Jaswinder Singh, seized 1,110 grams of illegal cannabis from his possession.
The arrest is part of the ongoing efforts by Lucknow Police to curb the sale and distribution of narcotics in the city.
