New Delhi: The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has added fugitive Satinderjeet Singh, also known as Goldy Brar, to its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list and announced a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to his arrest.
According to the FBI, Brar is wanted for his alleged involvement with the Lawrence Bishnoi organised crime group, which US authorities accuse of involvement in targeted killings, shootings, extortion, kidnappings and narcotics and weapons trafficking across the United States and Canada.

Brar faces federal charges in Los Angeles, including racketeering conspiracy, conspiracy involving extortion and conspiracy to distribute controlled substances. The FBI describes him as armed and dangerous and alleges that he has operated as a North American leader of the group.

His addition to the list followed Operation Hardball, a multi-agency investigation into India-based transnational organised crime networks. The FBI said indictments unsealed in July charged 37 defendants connected to three such groups.
The FBI said Brar is the 543rd person added to its Ten Most Wanted list since its creation in 1950. Authorities have urged anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact law enforcement rather than approach him directly.
