Lucknow: In a determined effort to enforce traffic regulations, police in the Para area of Lucknow launched a stringent vehicle-checking drive on Monday. The operation was conducted in Hanskhera under the leadership of Hanskhera Outpost In-charge Munnalal, along with his police team.
The drive was carried out under the supervision of DCP West Zone Vishwajeet Srivastava and ACP Kakori Shakeel Ahmed.
The surprise checking began during routine foot patrolling, targeting traffic violations such as driving without helmets, triple riding, and overspeeding. Several challans were issued on the spot. Acting on the instructions of SHO Suresh Kumar, Outpost In-charge Munnalal, along with constables Manish Kumar, Harsh Yadav, and Mohammad Nafis Diwan, jointly executed the operation.
Police also fined individuals driving without valid licences, carrying incomplete vehicle documents, and riding without helmets. Roadside encroachers received stern warnings as well.
The police team advised motorists to carry all necessary documents, wear helmets, and follow traffic rules to ensure road safety.
Locals appreciated the proactive role of Hanskhera Outpost In-charge Munnalal in strengthening security and maintaining discipline in the area.
