Lucknow: The University of Lucknow successfully organized a grand felicitation ceremony for the participants and winners of various competitions held during its 68th Convocation Week, which took place from September 1 to 10, 2025. The event was held at the Malviya Hall on November 3 under the patronage of Vice-Chancellor Professor Manuka Khanna and the able guidance of Professor Anchal Srivastava, Director, Cultural Affairs.
The ceremony celebrated the creativity and enthusiasm of students who took part in multiple events across inter-collegiate and on-campus competitions. A total of 717 participants received certificates of participation, while 140 outstanding performers were awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals for their excellence.
The competitions spanned a wide range of disciplines including singing, dance, instrumental music, drama, poetry recitation, quiz, painting, debate, fashion show, and mimicry, creating a vibrant atmosphere of cultural expression and artistic spirit on the campus.
Students from over 20 affiliated colleges of the University of Lucknow also participated enthusiastically, showcasing exceptional talent and securing top honors in various categories. Their participation added diversity, prestige, and festive fervor to the entire event. Notable institutions such as B.S.N.V. College Lucknow, Isabella Thoburn College Lucknow, and Sacred Heart College Sitapur were among the key participants.

The event was coordinated by student convener Prateek Mishra and his team, whose exemplary organizational efforts ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the ceremony.
The felicitation ceremony concluded with the National Anthem, marking a proud and celebratory moment for the University of Lucknow as it continues to nurture young talent and uphold its rich cultural legacy.
