Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, PVSM, UYSM AVSM, YSM, GOC-in-C, Central Command inaugurated a Single Window Clearance System at AMC Records, AMC Centre and College in Lucknow Cantonment on 10 September 2025, in the esteemed presence of Lt Gen Shivinder Singh, AVSM, Commandant AMC Centre & College & OIC Records & Colonel Commandant and Brig Sahajvir Singh, Brig Records.
AMC Records plays a vital and pivotal role in ensuring correct documentation of pensioners, grievance redressal and timely issue of e-PPOs, pension claims, grant of service / family pensions and other terminal benefits to retirees and their NOK. Continuous efforts are being made to address grievances to all retirees, veterans and serving JCOs/OR of AMC & AD Corps through the use of modern Information Technology (IT) systems with complete transparency, accuracy and efficiency.
In line with these efforts, AMC Records has conceptualized a Single Window Clearance facility to address all grievances related to Pay and Allowances, Part-II Order adjustment and settlement of previous pending claims for retirees reporting to AMC Centre & College (Adm Battalion) on discharge drill, as well as veterans and serving JCOs/OR of AMC & AD Corps.
The facility is equipped with Kiosks featuring state of the art in-house software to provide service such as Address, Civil Education, Kinder Roll, Details of Promotion, Course & Cadre, Upclass, Award, Leave Details, Part-II orders details and status (since 2007), Pay Slip (since 2011), e-PPO & FSA details – all accessible to retirees and serving JCOs/OR at a single click through ARPAN. Additionally, kiosk with Dolphin connectivity are linked to PAO (OR) AMC Lucknow.
The Single Window Clearance facility is also supported by 24 x 7 Helpline for prompt and effective grievance redressal. The Helpline is available through two ASCON Contact Numbers and one Civil Contact Number. The facility will greatly benefit retirees, veterans and serving JCOs/OR of AMC & AD Corps by ensuring swift resolution of all grievances.
