Lucknow |Under the guidance of Police Commissioner Lucknow, Amrendra Kumar Sengar, and Joint Police Commissioner (Law & Order), Babl00 Kumar, the Lucknow Police has launched a special initiative — Mahila Beat Abhiyan — across all zones of the city to ensure women’s safety, empowerment, and awareness.
The campaign aims to sensitize women, especially students and working professionals, about crucial safety measures, helplines, and support services. Police teams visited schools, crowded public places, main roads, intersections, and marketplaces, conducting awareness drives.
Women were informed about services such as 1090 Women’s Helpline, 112 Emergency Response, Mahila Power Line, and other safety resources. Students were also educated about cyber safety, fraud prevention, and government schemes.

Special emphasis was laid on the use of women’s helpline numbers, smart safety cameras, and field policing patrols. The initiative also encouraged women to report incidents fearlessly and avail benefits of government programs.
