Thieves Break Into Pharma Trader’s House in Lucknow, Steal Cash and Jewelry Worth Lakhs

Lucknow:  A shocking theft has come to light from the Krishna Nagar area of Lucknow, where unidentified burglars broke into the house of a pharmaceutical businessman and decamped with cash and jewelry worth several lakhs. The entire incident was caught on CCTV, giving crucial leads to the police.

The incident occurred at the residence of Indrapal Singh, located in Shubham City, Pandit Kheda. Singh, who is a medicine trader, reported that he had gone to the market with his family around 7 PM on Saturday evening. When the family returned around 11:50 PM, they were stunned to find their house ransacked and the ventilation grill cut open.

Entry Through the Roof, Exit With Lakhs

According to Singh, the burglars first attempted to enter a neighboring house but found nothing of value. They then climbed onto his roof and cut through the grill and wire mesh to gain access to the house. Once inside, they looted ₹80,000 in cash and about ₹3 lakh worth of gold jewelry.

Interestingly, a spiritual gathering (satsang) was taking place nearby at the time, which possibly masked the sound of metal being cut, allowing the thieves to commit the crime without alerting anyone.

CCTV Footage Reveals Clues

CCTV footage from near the house shows two unidentified men arriving on a bike, which has now become a critical lead in the investigation. A motorbike was also recovered from the spot, believed to have been used in the crime. Police have seized the vehicle and are examining the footage to identify the suspects.

Police Investigation Underway

Victim Indrapal Singh has filed a formal complaint with the local police station. Law enforcement officials have confirmed that a detailed investigation is underway and that efforts are being made to identify and apprehend the culprits at the earliest.

The daring nature of the theft has raised concerns among local residents, prompting calls for heightened security and surveillance in the area. Police have urged residents to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
