Highlighting the spiritual significance of the event, Singh noted, “Bathing at the Triveni Sangam, where the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers converge, is invaluable. This sacred confluence purifies the soul and fosters a divine connection with the Almighty. Every droplet of water here is infused with prosperity, faith, and elemental power, offering devotees a path to salvation.” The once-in-144-years festival has drawn millions of pilgrims from across India and abroad.

The Tourism Minister further stated that the cultural and religious grandeur of the Maha Kumbh has placed Uttar Pradesh prominently on the global tourism map.
