Lucknow: In UP, 62% of those who have crossed the century mark in terms of age are women. Ballia has the highest number of old voters. It is followed by Azamgarh, Kushinagar and Lakhimpur Kheri. Jaunpur, Prayagraj, Gonda, Ghazipur, Sant Kabirnagar and Mirzapur are also included in the top 10.
There are a total of 19378 voters aged 100-150 years in all the districts of the state. These include 7347 men and 12030 women. Balrampur has only one third gender voter above 100 years of age in the state. Ballia has the highest number of voters above 100 years of age, i.e. 1008. It is followed by Azamgarh with 924 voters.
But, Azamgarh is ahead of Ballia in terms of women voters above 100 years of age. 609 women voters in Azamgarh and 516 women voters in Ballia are above the age of 100. Kheri has 516 women voters in this age category, just like Ballia. Maharajganj has the lowest number of voters above 100 years of age at 14. Siddharthnagar is next with 19 voters.
