Ayodhya: The construction of the first and second floor of Ram Mandir is now nearing completion. There are chances of Ram Darbar being established on the first floor in January next year. The process of setting up ‘Ram Katha Ka Sansar’ on the second floor i.e. museum construction has also started.
It is being said that only a limited number of devotees will be allowed entry due to less space available on the first and second floors as compared to the ground floor. However, the officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust are talking about taking a decision on this later.
Ram Mandir built on 2.77 acres of land
Ram Mandir has been built on 2.77 acres of land in the 70-acre Ram Janmabhoomi complex. Saptarishi Mandir, temples of deities, Parakota, Kuber Tila, Auditorium, Sant Niwas and other projects are being built on the remaining land. Apart from the ground floor, Ram Mandir also has two other floors. The first floor has been built. Finishing and carving on the pillars is going on, the construction of the second floor is in progress.
The main shikhar of the temple is to be built on this. After the temple is completely built, deliberations have started on how many devotees should be allowed to enter the other two floors.
Entry of all devotees is not possible here
Entry of all devotees is not possible due to less space on the first and second floors as compared to the ground floor. While the ground floor is built on about 19 thousand square feet of land, the first floor is built in 11 thousand square feet and the second floor in seven thousand square feet. In this way, there is eight thousand square feet less space on the first floor and 12 thousand square feet less space on the second floor as compared to the ground floor.
This is the reason
Due to the construction of Gudhi Mandap, Nritya Mandap and Rang Mandap on the ground floor, the space on both the floors has reduced. Stairs have been constructed in the north and south directions on the ground floor itself. Devotees will be sent up from the stairs in the south direction and will come down from the stairs in the north direction.
Dr. Anil Kumar Mishra, a member of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, says, it will not be possible to send all the devotees to the first and second floors like the ground floor of the temple, so some arrangement will definitely be made. The first priority is to complete the construction on time.
Meanwhile, Gopal Rao, the administrator of Ram Mandir and an invited member of the trust, said that a decision has not yet been taken regarding the number of people. Any special arrangements will be made later.
