Lucknow: The Silver Jubilee Year Celebration of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University is being celebrated from May 7, 2024 to May 8, 2025. On this occasion, a cricket match between Management 11 and COE 11 was held on Friday in the Intra University Sports Tournament in the university campus. In which Management 11 won one-sidedly due to the all-round performance of Ravi Sharma. Batting first, Management scored 93 runs in the stipulated 10 overs on the basis of Rajendra’s 30 and Ravi Sharma’s 25 runs. In response, the entire team of COE 11 was scattered for 18 runs.
On behalf of the management, Vinay Chaturvedi showed the way to the pavilion to 3 batsmen. During this, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. JP Pandey, Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajiv Kumar, Finance Officer Keshav Singh, Dean UG Prof. Anurag Tripathi, Sports Coordinator Prof. OP Singh and others were present.
Apart from this, in the badminton competition, FOAP 11 defeated VC 11 in the men’s doubles final. FOAP 11 won due to the good play of Tabish Ahmed Abdullah and Vaibhav Kulshreshtha. While in the women’s doubles semi-final, IET 11 defeated Management 11. In this, Professor Arunima Verma and Dr. Shweta played well.
