497 Recruits Pass Out in Grand Convocation Parade at Gonda Police Lines

Gonda: A grand and dignified passing-out parade was organized at the Reserve Police Lines in Gonda, marking the successful completion of nine months of rigorous training by 497 recruit constables. The ceremony was conducted under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal, signalling the formal induction of the newly trained personnel into active police service.

The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Amit Pathak, Inspector General of Police, Devipatan Range, who took the salute and inspected the parade. The recruits presented an impressive march past in contingents, showcasing discipline, coordination, and the high standards of their training.

During the event, all recruits were administered the oath of office and secrecy, reaffirming their commitment to serve with integrity, honesty, impartiality, and sensitivity. Addressing the gathering, SP Vineet Jaiswal emphasized that policing is not merely a profession but a responsibility toward society, requiring discipline, patience, and swift decision-making.

Outstanding performers were honoured on the occasion. Samar Pal Verma and Shailendra Yadav received special awards, while Nityanand Tripathi was conferred the title of “Best All-Round Recruit.” Other top performers were also felicitated with trophies and certificates.

The parade was efficiently led by Parade Commanders Saubhagya, Abhay Yadav, and Abhay Pratap Singh. Senior officers, including Assistant Superintendent of Police Abhishek, trainee IPS Pradeep Kumar, and Additional SPs Radheshyam Rai and Ajit Kumar Rajak, were present.

The ceremony concluded with best wishes for the recruits as they embark on their journey of public service.
