Lucknow: SR Global school BKT, Lucknow felicitated youngsters at a colourful Investiture Ceremony. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Abhijeet S. Shankar, DCP North Zone, Lucknow and presided over by Pawan Singh Chauhan, MLC, Sitapur and Chairman of SR Group of Institutions. Piyush Singh Chauhan, Vice Chairman of SRGI, Monica Tiwari, ED of SRGS, C.K. Ojha, Principal, and Shalini Srivastava, Vice Principal of SR Global School and other prominent personalities graced the occasion.
The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of lamp symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the onset of knowledge. This was followed by a patriotic dance performance by the students, setting a spirited tone for the day. A total of 28 students from the senior wing and 28 from the junior wing were selected to take on the mantle of leadership.
The school’s music troupe added to the event’s splendor with a beautiful performance, captivating the audience with their melodious tunes. In his address, the Chief Guest, Abhijeet S. Shankar, emphasized that leadership does not mean imposing one’s decisions on others or practicing dictatorship. Instead, it involves taking responsibility for guiding others.
