Lucknow: Presentation/Lecture program titled ‘Vardhani’ (PPT Presentation) based on the works of working artists/researchers at Lalit Kala Akademi, Regional Centre, Aliganj, Lucknow. Presenting their works were Lalit Kumar Chaurasia, – Researcher, Sculpture and Suresh Kumar Saurabh – Researcher, Photography.
Suresh Kumar Saurabh has done various types of photography on new subjects of Banaras like market-city, streets, sadhu-saints etc. Saurabh said that he has tried to capture the subtlety of the subject along with its entire environment on the camera screen. The guest of honour of this programme, Anil Risal Singh, eminent photographer, in his address praised artworks of the artists who presented in the programme and said that both the artists presented their artworks in their respective genres which is commendable. He said that I hope that the Regional Centre Lucknow will continue to encourage artists through other similar programmes.
Dr. Devendra Tripathi, Regional Secretary, mentioned in his address that “Vardhani” is a series of monthly programs. Through this program, every month some working artists and researchers of the center present their creations in front of art lovers, artists, art students so that young artists can get more information about art.
