Lucknow: To commemorate the 104th Foundation Day Week (19-24, November 2024) of University of Lucknow. The Department of Commerce organized a debate competition and essay writing competition under educational activities. A total of 10 students of the department participated in the debate competition, in which the first place was secured by Vaibhav (M.Com. first semester, first year student), second place by Ishita Vardhan (B.Com. fifth semester, third year student) and third place by Priyal Srivastava (B.Com. seventh semester, third year student).
Similarly, a total of 13 participants participated in the essay writing competition, in which the first place was secured by Shaklain Ullah Khan (B.Com. Honors fifth semester student), second place by Monika Yadav (B.Com. third year student) and third place by Himanshi Rawat (B.Com. Honors first semester student). Dean CDC Professor Awadhesh Kumar and Head Department of Commerce Professor Ram Milan were present as judges in the competition.
The Coordinators of the competition were Dr. Gyan Prakash, Dr. Anita Tiwari and Dr. Khushboo Rawat. Many teachers and students of the department were present in the competition.
