Mumbai: Actor Yash has opened up about how his outlook on life and cinema has evolved over the years, saying that change is an intrinsic part of being human.
During a promotional interaction for his upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, Yash spoke candidly about his earlier statements and how his perspectives have changed with time. In a conversation with journalist Rajat Sharma on Aap Ki Adalat, the actor acknowledged that his thinking has undergone a complete transformation over the years.
“People change. If someone says they haven’t changed in 20 years, they are lying,” Yash said, emphasising that personal growth naturally influences the way people view life and their surroundings.
The actor pointed out that beliefs and opinions are not permanent. According to him, something a person firmly believed a decade ago may not necessarily remain relevant to them today. He also noted that perspectives can change within minutes depending on experiences and circumstances.
Yash also reflected on how his approach to filmmaking has evolved. Earlier in his career, he had expressed an interest in making films that families could comfortably watch together. However, his current choice of projects reflects a more mature and unconventional perspective.
His upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, directed by Geetu Mohandas, is positioned as a departure from conventional mainstream cinema and explores a darker, more mature narrative.
The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on August 26, 2026, and has generated considerable interest among Yash’s fans following the success of his previous blockbuster projects.
