When it’s Yogi, there is assurance, say candidates after biggest Police Recruitment Exam

Lucknow: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh successfully concluded the written examination for the largest police constable recruitment drive in the state’s history. The candidates, relieved and hopeful, were seen with smiles on their faces, filled with optimism about their future. Many expressed their gratitude towards CM Yogi Adityanath, crediting his leadership for the smooth and transparent execution of the examination process, echoing the sentiment, “If Yogi is there, there is assurance”.

On Saturday, the examination for 60,244 constable posts across the state was completed without any disruptions, marking a significant achievement for the administration. Outside the examination centers, parents of the candidates gathered, proud of their children’s hard work and confident in their prospects. Their assurance stemmed from the diligent efforts of the Yogi government, which ensured that the entire examination process was conducted safely and efficiently.

CM Yogi had earlier assured the public that this police recruitment examination would set a new standard in transparency and fairness, unlike any other in the state’s history. He had committed to a recruitment process free from bias, interference, and corruption, with no room for anarchic or criminal elements to jeopardize the future of the state’s youth.

Examination was conducted in 2 phases for 5 days

The written examination for 60,244 police constable posts in Uttar Pradesh was successfully conducted across all districts in two phases per day over five days. Under the visionary leadership and efficient guidance of CM Yogi, meticulous arrangements were made to ensure that candidates faced no inconvenience during the examination process. To maintain security and integrity, 1,97,859 police personnel were deployed at examination centers statewide, and the use of CCTV equipped with artificial intelligence effectively deterred solver gangs and other disruptive elements.

In the state capital, Lucknow, the examination process was executed smoothly on a large scale, with examination centers operating in various parts of the city under tight security. Similar scenes of organized and secure examination environments were witnessed across every district, with candidates showing high spirits and enthusiasm.

A notable feature of this recruitment drive is the provision of 20 percent reservation for women in the police force, a move that has been widely praised by female candidates. This initiative, introduced by CM Yogi, not only aims to enhance the participation of women in the state’s police force but also empowers them to play an active role in maintaining law and order and combating unruly elements at the grassroots level. Many women candidates highlighted this significant step and expressed their appreciation for the Yogi government’s commitment to gender inclusivity in law enforcement.

Jyoti Pal, a resident of Hardoi who took part in the written examination process in Lucknow, expressed her satisfaction with the entire process. She emphasized that CM Yogi’s initiative not only enhances the respect for women but also ensures that, as part of the police force, women can actively combat crimes against women and challenge the chaotic elements in society.

Palak Gupta from Lucknow echoed this sentiment, expressing her gratitude to CM Yogi for the transparent and fair recruitment process. Similarly, Sujata Srivastava from Kanpur praised the exceptional arrangements made during this year’s examination, noting that while recruitment exams have been held before, the meticulous planning and execution under CM Yogi’s vision are commendable and set a meaningful example for others.

Vandana Kumari, who traveled from Buxar in Bihar to take the exam in Lucknow, appreciated both the security measures and the quality of the exam, particularly highlighting the fair opportunities provided in the reasoning section.

Muskan, who came with her family from Gopalganj in Bihar, lauded CM Yogi’s efforts, stating that the robust security arrangements foster healthy competition, ensuring that the state’s police recruitment is transparent and talent-based, free from any undue influence or lobbying. She said, “When Yogi is there, it is possible. There is widespread confidence in CM Yogi’s leadership and the belief that such initiatives are paving the way for a more inclusive and just recruitment process.

Vivek Agrahari from Ambedkar Nagar highlighted that candidates were given priority in government buses and were not charged any travel fees, which provided significant relief to students. He noted that neither he nor any of his peers faced any difficulties in reaching their exam centers.

Raju Pal from Kanpur, Suraj Sonkar from Barabanki, and Vivek Kulshreshtha from Unnao shared similar sentiments, stating that the examination was conducted at a highly advanced technological level this time. They appreciated the use of high-tech measures to prevent cheating and praised the local administration for their support to the candidates. Saurabh Dwivedi from Gonda, Pradeep Ranjan from Nawada, Bihar, and Chandan Rai from Siwan also acknowledged the excellent arrangements made by the state government.

Vivek Singh from Barabanki emphasized that the high standards set for conducting the written examination should become the norm for all exams. Another candidate, Mohit Kumar Sahu, remarked that if all examinations in the state are conducted with such efficiency, issues like paper leaks will be a thing of the past.

As the examination concluded, large crowds of candidates were seen at railway stations and bus stands across the state. However, all appeared confident in the safety of their travel arrangements, thanks to the comprehensive transport system put in place by CM Yogi’s administration.
