UP RERA Committed to Protecting Interests of Allottees, Promoters, and Real Estate Agents

Lucknow: In a bid to safeguard the interests of allottees, promoters, and real estate agents, Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has launched an initiative to train agents before issuing RERA registrations. The primary goal of this training is to ensure that agents are well-versed with the RERA Act, rules, and guidelines issued periodically, while also ensuring they maintain proper conduct in their dealings with allottees.

The training is mandatory for both existing agents previously registered with UP RERA and new applicants seeking registration. After completing the training, agents will have to pass a written examination. Only those who successfully clear the exam will be permitted to apply for RERA registration.

The second phase of training for agents was inaugurated by UP RERA Chairman, Sanjay R. Bhoosreddy, on January 6, 2025. This initiative aims to further professionalize the sector, ensuring a transparent and regulated environment for all stakeholders in the real estate industry.
