Hathras: The Governor of the state, Anandiben Patel inaugurated the Swarnodaya Mahotsav program organized on the occasion of completion of 50 years of establishment of Shri Rameshwardas Aggarwal Girls Postgraduate College in Hathras district.
On this occasion, the Governor in her address paid tribute to those who died in the accident that took place in Hathras district and said that everyone should avoid blindly following any ordinary person by considering him as God and worshiping him. An ordinary person is not God, instead of following such blind devotion, efforts should be made to educate daughters and give them proper values and make efforts for their progress.
She said that through the National Education Policy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made arrangements to provide education up to class 6 in mother tongue in every province, girls are taught in government schools by the public due to low fees, but boys are taught in expensive schools but girls set records. The Governor suggested adding girl students in all the committees for the colleges striving for (National Accreditation and Assessment Council).
On this occasion, the Governor unveiled the memorial pillar to mark the completion of fifty years of the college and planted an Ashoka tree in the interest of the environment. The Governor also released books related to the curriculum.
On this occasion, local MP Anoop Valmiki, District Magistrate Ashish Kumar, Superintendent of Police Nipun Agarwal, respected public representatives and officials were present.
