Bareilly: As part of the extensive public outreach campaign being conducted across Uttar Pradesh from June 5 to June 21, 2026, to mark the completion of 12 years of the Central Government, ‘Ratri Chaupal’ (Night Chaupal) programs were organized in various development blocks of Bareilly district. The campaign focuses on development, service, good governance, and public welfare.
Under the initiative, Night Chaupal programs were held at Gram Panchayat Mohammadpur Jatan in Bhojipura Block in the presence of a Member of the Legislative Council, and at Gram Panchayat Madhauli in Fatehganj Paschimi Block under the leadership of Mirganj MLA Dr. D.C. Verma.
The elected representatives interacted directly with villagers, listening to their grievances and concerns with the objective of ensuring prompt resolution of issues and increasing awareness about government welfare schemes. A majority of the complaints received during the meetings were resolved on the spot, while officials concerned were directed to take priority action on the remaining issues and ensure their early disposal.
Addressing the gathering, the public representatives emphasized that the government is committed to providing timely and effective solutions to public problems and ensuring that no eligible beneficiary is deprived of welfare scheme benefits. They instructed officials to work in accordance with the government’s vision of responsive and citizen-centric governance.
During the program, villagers were provided detailed information about various Central and State Government welfare initiatives, including the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Scheme, Old Age Pension Scheme, PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, ration card facilities, sanitation initiatives, and drinking water schemes. Eligible beneficiaries were encouraged to avail themselves of these schemes, and guidance was provided regarding eligibility criteria, application procedures, and required documentation.

The representatives reiterated that the government continues to work for the welfare of villages, farmers, economically weaker sections, and the needy. They noted that Night Chaupal programs have emerged as an effective platform for directly hearing the concerns of rural residents and ensuring their resolution, thereby providing relief to the public.
Officials from the concerned development blocks, local public representatives, and a large number of villagers were present during the events.
