Lucknow: On the fourth Tuesday of the month of Jyeshtha, a huge feast was organized by the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Kapil Dev Agarwal, at Dakshinmukhi Hanuman Temple, near Purani Kotwali, Hazratganj.
The program started with Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal visiting the Dakshinmukhi Hanuman Temple, offering prayers and prasad. After this, the huge feast was inaugurated by worshipping the picture of Shri Ram Darbar at the venue. The minister inaugurated the feast by making the girls accept the prasad and after that distributed prasad to the people.
On this occasion, State Finance Minister Suresh Khanna, Women Welfare Minister Baby Rani Maurya, State Minister of Home Guard and Civil Defence (Independent Charge), Dharmveer Prajapati, State Minister of Transport (Independent Charge) Dayashankar Singh, State Minister of Higher Education Rajni Tiwari, State Minister of Rural Development Vijay Laxmi Gotam, State Minister of Mother and Child Welfare Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh, Mayor Lucknow Sushma Kharkwal, MLA Mahesh Trivedi, Engr. Avnish Singh, Manish Jaiswal, MLC Pawan Singh Chauhan, Salil Vishnoi, former Deputy Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha member Dinesh Sharma, Rajya Sabha member Baburam Nishad, former minister Siddharth Nath Singh, former Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia, senior leader Neeraj Singh, Lucknow Vice President and Regional General Secretary Vijay Pratap Singh, Regional Vice President Rajiv Mishra, State Minister Abhijat Mishra, Chief Minister OSD Shravan along with other public representatives and officials were also present and took prasad.
Bhandara is being seen as an important initiative towards preserving religious and cultural heritage, in which hundreds of people participated enthusiastically and took prasad.
