But as soon as the patient was fed milk, he again started having symptoms like coughing and pneumonia. Examination of the patient’s food pipe through a telescope revealed that the patient’s food pipe and windpipe were congenitally connected. The patient was referred to the pediatric surgery department for surgery.
In the Department of Pediatric Surgery, Professor Jiledaar Rawat and his team examined the windpipe through a telescope and saw the connection between the food pipe and the windpipe and operated on the patient. The operation was very complicated, the patient’s chest was opened and the food pipe and windpipe were separated. After the operation, the child was kept on ventilator for two days.
