Medicines are available for 20 to 25 rupees
Jan Aushadhi Kendra, which is built on Deoli Road in South Delhi, has been here for three years, people come here from far and wide to buy cheap medicines, the shop remains crowded throughout the day. People buying medicines here told that, medicines are available here much cheaper than the market. The medicine which is available in the market for 100 rupees, is available here for 20 to 25 rupees.
The medicine center operator gave information
Rajesh Agarwal, who runs the Prime Minister Jan Aushadhi Center on Deoli Road, said that I have been running this center for three years. It is getting a very good response. Sometimes people have doubts that why the medicine is so cheap here? Earlier people were hesitant to buy it, whether it would prove to be effective or not. When people started buying medicines from here and started getting benefits, then people started getting crowded here too.
He also said that sometimes the demand for medicines increases so much that even medicines fall short. This policy of the central government is good. Shops are also opening at various places now, but if more Jan Aushadhi centers are opened, then people will benefit a lot.
