Lucknow: The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) is set to commence the construction and development of Ramayan Park, Sanskriti Darshan Park, and Greenwood Park starting in April. The total investment in these projects is estimated at over Rs 26.26 crore. Additionally, various construction and development works for Sanskriti Darshan Park and Greenwood Park will be carried out with an allocation of Rs 16.57 crore.
A six-month timeline has been set to complete the development of these parks. The parks will feature the installation of 22 unique sculptures. The project will also include CCTV installation, toilet blocks, walking lanes, and other essential infrastructure.
According to the master plan, Ramayan Park will showcase 15 sculptures of characters from the Ramayan era, along with 45 other artistic installations. The park will integrate multimedia entertainment technologies such as a mirror maze, holographic projections, motion chair 5D theater, and a dedicated kids’ activity area. The identified site for Ramayan Park is located at Koyal Enclave on Loni-Bhopura Road, covering an area of 22,700 square meters (5.61 acres). The project aims to be completed within a year.
Additionally, Sanskriti Darshan Park will be developed on the land of Hathi Park/Rani Avanti Bai Park, spanning 10.3 acres. This park will feature a kids’ activity area and various civic amenities. Specially designed sculptures made from recycled materials will be installed to promote environmental conservation.
Similarly, Greenwood Park will be developed on the land of Nimbu Park, covering an area of 3.95 acres. The park will include food kiosks where visitors can enjoy a variety of cuisines.
With these initiatives, GDA aims to enhance public recreational spaces while promoting cultural and environmental awareness.
