Bareilly: Outstanding and meritorious teachers from across Bareilly district were honoured on the occasion of Teachers’ Day during the Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas programmes organised at various tehsil headquarters.
At each tehsil, senior administrative officials, including the Divisional Commissioner, District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrates and Sub-Divisional Magistrates, presented certificates of appreciation and mementos to teachers for their exemplary contribution to education and their commitment to the overall development of students.
At the Meerganj tehsil auditorium, Divisional Commissioner Shambhu Kumar and Chief Development Officer Devyani honoured Prashant Gupta of Primary School Diosas, Sayma Akhtar of Primary School Meerganj and Richa Agrawal of Upper Primary School Anandpur. The teachers were presented shawls and recognition plaques for their outstanding work.
At the Sadar tehsil auditorium, the District Magistrate honoured Somveer, Assistant Teacher at Primary School Kalari in Bithri Chainpur block; Anand Kumar, Assistant Teacher at Primary School Bhartaul; Mayank Sharma, Assistant Teacher at Primary School Madhaopur in Fatehganj West block; and Vaishali Mana, Assistant Teacher at Primary School Chanehti in Kyara block. They were honoured with garlands, shawls and certificates of appreciation.
The District Magistrate said teachers play a crucial role in building society and shaping the future of the nation. He noted that their dedication, commitment and continuous efforts make a decisive contribution to the development of students’ personalities and future prospects.
At the Baheri tehsil auditorium, four teachers were recognised for their exceptional contribution to education. Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Purnima Singh, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Gopal Sharma, Tehsildar Bhanu Pratap and Block Education Officer Damkhauda Dr Jagdish Kumar honoured Mohammad Israel of Composite Upper Primary School Narkunda, Prabhunath Prasad of Composite Upper Primary School Deorania, Akanksha Mishra of Primary School Tah Kasampur and Sarvesh Kumar of Upper Primary School Lakha.
Officials said the teachers had not only helped improve educational quality but had also demonstrated exemplary dedication in departmental responsibilities.
At the Nawabganj tehsil auditorium, Additional District Magistrate (Finance/Revenue) Santosh Kumar Singh honoured Sanjeev Kumar Singh of Upper Primary School Adhkata Nazrana, Jyoti Saxena, in-charge head teacher of Upper Primary School Greim, and Arjun Singh of Primary School Yakupur with garlands and recognition plaques.
At Aonla, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sushil Kumar Mishra honoured teachers who had demonstrated excellence in teaching and contributed significantly to the all-round development of children. Those recognised included Sarita Sagar of Upper Primary School Dharampur and Urvashi Sharma of Primary School Dharampur in Alampur Jafarabad block; Nidhi Srivastava of Upper Primary School Rahtuiya in Majhgawan block; Nirbhay Singh Chauhan, head teacher of Primary School Kila-II in the urban area; education volunteer Hemant Kumar of Aonla urban area; and Gaurav Singh of Composite School Barser Sikandarpur in Ramnagar block.
The teachers were presented shawls, garlands, recognition plaques and sweets. The SDM said government primary schools form the foundation of basic education and teachers who remain committed to the future of their students are truly an asset to society. Other officials, including SDM Judicial Aonla Shiv Prasad, the Circle Officer, Block Development Officer of Majhgawan, Block Education Officers and the Supply Inspector, were also present.
At Faridpur, SDM Vidushi Singh honoured teachers from Faridpur and Bhuta blocks following the Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas programme. Nandan Singh Bhandari of Composite Upper Primary School Vilhara, Mohammad Ziaul Hasan, head teacher of Composite School Rajnapur, Jaipal Kashyap, head teacher of Primary School Faiznagar, and Shashi Bhushan Pathak of Primary School Shivpuri were presented shawls and recognition plaques.
The district-wide initiative highlighted the administration’s efforts to recognise teachers whose dedication, innovation and commitment are contributing to better educational outcomes and the holistic development of students.
